We had the honor of celebrating the graduation of our Somali cohort of High Impact Leadership trainees.
After 6 months of training, mentorship, and coaching, these women healthcare professionals successfully completed the High-Impact Leadership (HIL) Training for Health.
Over the past year, participants engaged deeply with leadership concepts, built essential competencies, and designed context-driven projects that are already contributing to improvements within their facilities. Seeing them present their final work with clarity and confidence has been a moment of pride. But the most inspiring progress extended beyond the classroom.
Throughout the journey, we witnessed these women step into leadership roles, initiate change within their teams, inspire their peers, and take on challenges with renewed purpose.
Though they have graduated, this milestone is only the beginning of the impact they are set to make. Each of these women returns to her institution equipped to lead, collaborate, and drive meaningful change in the health system.
We express our sincere appreciation to the Federal Ministry of Health Ethiopia and Amref Health Africa in Ethiopia for their support and partnership throughout this program.
We also extend our gratitude to the trainers, mentors, and coaches whose dedication shaped this journey, and to the MaMeLa team for their unwavering commitment.
Congratulations to all HIL graduates. We can’t wait to see the difference you will make!
